Danish Vaishyas is very proud to present you another night of improvisation. This time we have skilled players from Denmark, USA and Belgium.

John Dikeman: Saxophones (USA)
Peter Jacquemyn: Bass (Belgium)
Peter Ole Jørgensen: Drums (Denmark)

John Dikeman:
American saxophonist currently residing in Amsterdam. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources, John’s playing runs the gamut of improvised music and technique. John has performed extensively in the Netherlands and USA as well as Canada, Brasil, Russia and throughout Europe and the Middle East.
Since moving to Amsterdam, Dikeman has performed with William Parker, Hamid Drake, Joe McPhee, Jeb Bishop, Han Bennink, members of The Ex, Roy Campbell, Ab Baars, and many others.

Peter Jacquemyn:
Longstanding member of the Belgian WIM - Werkgroep Improviserende Muzikanten - playing concerts since 1984.
He has played in a wide variety of musicians such as Fred Van Hove, Evan Parker, Peter Kowald, Conrad Bauer, Wolfgang Fuchs, Takashi Yamane, La Donna Smith, Michael Moore, Ernst Reijseger, Barre Phillips, Roger Turner, John Edwards, Joëlle Léandre, and Phil Minton.

Peter Ole Jørgensen:
Plays mainly Drums and percussion. Composer & Producer. Central figure on the freeform/improv scene for 40 years both as a highly creative drummer and producer. Has defined Danish improvised drumming for more than 40 years, releasing a stream of high-quality music on his own legendary label Ninth World Music. Composed over 50 scores for ballet, film and performances. Has played and recorded with:
David Moss, Phil Minton, Axel Dörner, Steve Lacy, Fred Frith, Thomas Lehn, Raul Bjørkenheim, John Tchicai, Zëv, Frank Lowe, Johnny Dyani, Poul Rutherford, Alan Silva, Fred Lonberg Holm, Marylin Crispell, Johannes Bauer & Sirone.
